Fundamentals are economic events that happen around the world. These events are broken down into Low, Medium, or High impact news.
As traders, we only are mainly interested in the high impact news. These events can be found on the TradingJunkies.Club website, under the Member Dashboard, and 3rd party websites such as MyFxBook.
We want to be aware of current news to ensure we protect our capital, as it could lead to big moves in the market.
Alongside planned events, we could also encounter unplanned events - such as the recent COVID-19 pandemic, and Russia – Ukraine war.
Here at AFX, we try to avoid trading during high impact events, as this may invalidate the technicals we have planned.
